It is a sad truth that more than 75% of our families from most of our parishes lead an alcoholic filled lifestyle which in turn compel them to remain wretched in terms of physical psychological and spiritual means. The time is already over to take care of them. We should understand that no change is going to occur in these social status if we think that LC community will be blessed upon making a Latin Catholic MLA MP or Minister even Prime Minister. It is a pathetic condition that no change has been observed in this matter even though our beloved and respected Bishop is holding the chairmanship of KCBC anti-alcoholic movement. My question is that has V'puram diocese conducted any study or survey to find out the root cause of lack of prosperity among us? How can we make use of family units to put an end to alcoholism in our community?
