Pattithanam Forane Conclave

The Pattithanam Forane Synodal Conclave was held on October 26, 2025, at St. Paul’s Church, Vettimukal.The conclave began with a procession and public rally, followed by the flag hoisting by His Excellency Rt. Rev. Dr. Justin Madathiparabil, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Vijayapuram, who was officially inaugurated and announced the Synod. Around 150 participants, including priests, religious, and parish representatives, attended the Synod under the leadership of Very Rev. Fr. Augustine Kallarackal, Forane Vicar.
Present on the occasion were Very Rev. Fr. Aji Cherukarancheril, Diocesan Curia Moderator,Very Rev. Fr. Varghese Kottakattu, Ministry Coordinator,Rev. Fr. Augustine Mechery, Director of Social Services,Rev. Fr. Ronaldo Mathew Puthenparambil, Associate Director of Educational Services.

After the inaugural session, parish reports were presented, followed by group discussions on various ministries. After lunch, Eucharistic adoration, spiritual reflection sessions, and report presentations continued. During the concluding session, synodal representatives were elected and responsibilities were entrusted. The Synodal Conclave concluded at 4:30 p.m. with the Bishop’s final blessing.
