Muvattupuzha Forane Conclave

The Muvattupuzha Zonal Synodal Conclave was held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at St. George’s Parish, Perumbavoor. On that day, at 9.45 am, in the presence of Bishop Justin Mathathiparambil, all the priests, representatives of the religious community, ministry representatives, and resource team members gathered in the church and prayed for the filling of the Holy Spirit. Then Bishop Justin hoisted the papal flag and inaugurated the regional conclave.

The distinguished guests and parish representatives were escorted to the meeting by children dressed as angels. The Vicar of Muvattupuzha, Very. Rev. Fr. Vincent Paramel, presided over the meeting. Rev.Fr.Antony Chelattu welcomed the gathering, and the Auxiliary Bishop of Vijayapuram, Rev. Justin Mathathilparampil, inaugurated the zonal conclave. After the presentation of the parish conclave report, Rev. Fr. Mathew Madathil extented a vote of thanks for the official meeting.

Later, an orientation class was conducted in each group under the leadership of the resource team from the diocese. Then, after praying in the presence of the Holy Eucharist, the members returned to the group and prepared a report sharing the inspirations they received. Priests and representatives of the religious community from the region were also members of the group.

The diocesan team members, Reverend Varghese Kottakkattu, Sr. Vivit CSST, C. Jessie FSSH, C. Mary Jyothis DIH, Sister Mary Divya DIH, Sister Mary Ann DIH, led the discussions. After lunch, each group presented its report.
